Everything is on track for the Big Knock 2019 gathering at the Bat & Ball.
Camping has gone up to £11 a night from £10 but that’s still pretty good value.
The pub is looking at providing breakfasts so it would be nice if we could perhaps use this facility along with the Chalet café
The field itself has some mats in the grass (mainly for normal campers cars) in case we get torrential rain like last year.
T shirts have been ordered today & will be the usual £10.
We’ve reserved four places in the field from Tuesday before so Jeff & a few other early birds can take up residence. As any normal campers fade away then we shall take their places.
Mark tells me he aims to bring some Army Diesel KLR’s along so fingers crossed for that!
31st May to 1st June are the official rally days.

Re: Big Knock 2019 31st May - 1st June
Well it's all over for another year, home safe sunburned and tired.
For the first time it's looking like the twins are about to outnumber the singles, especially the Z482 crowd (myself included) which seems to be the motor of choice for self builders.
Sludgy the second performed well - apart from the battery going bad on the Sunday, but some kind soul stopped in his car and then ferried a golf cart battery from his home to our stranded position and some zip ties to attach it to the bike - I still have it, and shall be returning the item with a bottle of thanks in the near future.
My thanks to all for attending and especially for Stu and Jeff for all their hard work in making it all happen.
Cheers
Dave

Sad I missed it this year - sounds like yet another scorcher of a weekend and I look forward to the write up. I have been trying to make myself useful by fighting the ongoing battle with keeping the forum clear of spam!

Great write up! Maybe I'll try next year, if I don't blow it up again in the meantime...
