Hi all
All the documentation shows the D722 as having a 3600rpm redline, however, mine only revs to 3000 rpm ( with no load on the flywheel)
I am assuming that there is another variant with a lower redline, but I cannot find it.
I am thinking that I have to modify the weights in the governor to increase the redline?

Re: D722 Max rpm
I believe that, that has to to with the speed control plate and the spring(s) attached to it.

Thanks. I shall investigate, as I believe up to a point, that control plate controls it and them after that the weights in the governor control it.

Re: D722 Max rpm
Turns out mine is the 3600 rpm variant.
Its just that 90% of travel on the governor lever gives 2800 rpm.
that extra 10% bumps it to the 3600, my throttle linkage did not allow full travel!
