Reviving project after move

Post by alexanderfoti »

Just starting to get the project back on track.

Was putting a D830 in place of the D850, after the D850 had low compression on one cylinder.

it has a small set of differences, but the crank case size is the same.

Its bolted up and is driving the rear wheel but needs:

[*]Engine mounts on crank pulley side
[*]Alternator mount
[*]RPM counter sorting out
[*]There are no electrics for some reason?
[*] fuel tank needs cleaning out

lots of other bits!

Started straight up in -1deg weather 5 seconds of glow :

New engine has done about 12 hours.

Glad to hear your back on project. Confused though. Video says engine is a D850.... thought you were replacing the 850 with 830?
