Free Kubota engine (kind off)
Hi all
I have my Kubota D850 here, currently taking up space.
Also, am moving house! Fun times.
Need the engine gone, its sat here, can be put on a pallet, its head has been removed and valves etc removed from it. Looks like worn rings on the block. Would be rebuild able and usable without too much effort.
If somebody wants to arrange shipping, I am happy to secure it to said pallet and drain it of its engine oil. I only ask for money to cover tie down straps/rope (unless I can find some lying about).

You move house a lot don't you?
Interested in the engine, how much would shipping be to Amsterdam?
I've got a nice corner in my shed.

Its a long story of twatty landlords, renting off "family friends" and other stupid situations that is best left for another time.Tetronator wrote:You move house a lot don't you?

No idea on shipping to amsterdam, get a quote from a couple of pallet shipping companies, Guessing roughly £100-150, depends on how long you want to wait for it.
It has to be gone by the 20th of this month, or it will be scrapped

I am in no hurry to get it.
But that's too expensive for me considering I have to put at least as much into it for gaskets and such. Maybe someone else nearby would want it.

No worries, just wanted to make sure you weren't off getting shipping quotes, whilst I chucked it in the bin.Tetronator wrote:I am in no hurry to get it.

Well I had no plans for it anyway, I am still interested in the thermostat housing tough.alexanderfoti wrote:No worries, just wanted to make sure you weren't off getting shipping quotes, whilst I chucked it in the bin.Tetronator wrote:I am in no hurry to get it.

It might fit in my D722. Is it one that exits to the side? Because mine currently goes straight up.
If you're going to bin it, mind saving that for me?
I'll see if I can find a picture.
Straight one
90 degree one

Bonjour again!!
I have now finished moving and have the engine with me still.
My thermostat housing is the one that goes straight up, but is very short, I used a 90 degree rubber hose on the end. Worked ok

Bonjour mon ami!
Ah alright, still working on it, but even a short one will be poking into my fuel tank I'm afraid.

Mine was very close too, only 2-3mm between the hose and the tank. Maybe keep an eye out on ebay etc for that spare bit.Tetronator wrote:Bonjour mon ami!
