Looking For My Old Diesel Bike

Post by Calkins »

My Craig's List ad is not getting me anywhere. I probably should have posted this here long ago. I sold my bobber to a cat in South Dakota. He sold it to another guy in the area.

I am looking for a diesel engine powered motor bike that I sold a few years ago. My father and I built it, and I foolishly traded it off for another motorcycle. I would like to buy it back. Any leads to the current owner would be greatly appreciated. It was a Honda CL450 with a custom built hardtail, a garden tractor style diesel engine, and a snowmobile style torque converter clutch. The bike was painted flat track. The fuel tank had a tooth painted on the top, with the words "Black Tooth Grin" painted around it.

Best of luck with your retrieval efforts. I do hope you're successful.

And then I have to ask - surely the Dewalt wasn't used for starting?

No, that was for the lights only. I never got the electrical finished enough to use the electric start. It pulled over easy enough.
