Anyone over there know of these chaps, whether they in fact stock these engines, who builds them and what their experience has been with them?

The engines a Punsun which is basically 2 10hp yanclones on a common crank with a bigger startermotor to cope.
I got mine from portable energy around 18 months ago. He bought in 4 for testing before importing them to ensure they were solid. I dropped lucky and managed to get an ex test one.
Mike was good to deal with before I bought it and was happy to take some measurements and email over engineering drawings.
Ive only needed to speak to him once more since. I had a cold start problem as the Punsun didnt come with decompressors on the heads.
Punsun do sell a kit but instead he posted out a rocker box with a valve lifter lever from a 10hp clone, free of charge for both the rocker box and the postage , even included a new gasket.
Can't fault that for service really. I think he runs portable energy as a one man show inbetween working at a site dealing with heavier plant so he can be a little difficult to track down. However when you do he does exactly what he says he will.
Hope that helps, Mark

His price level is above that of Rotek, but it will get interesting come April, when Winsun will release a 25HP model. On a German forum, there's 30 people odd awaiting that particular model.
On the Rotek site, they also announce a 900cc model btw. Dunno how many PS. I wonder if this guy can also answer the question, if Kipor and Winsun are actually the same engines
For the CVT on their respective sites, the same, identical picture is used (hint: look at the curling sticker...)

'92 Enfield + Hatz 1B40: street legal, weld up stainless exhaust, check engine rpm and change final drive sprocket.
