a basic generalized "make your own" set up. Gains it said are really more realized with turboed engines.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, interesting - I never understood how it actually worked before!
Incidentally, a lot of the normally aspirated engines people are using in bike are direct injection, so may get more benefit that the article suggests can be realised with older car engines.

So the single and twin diesiels are DI? Think most the 3cyl are IDI

I've tried it, you do need some free air available which is why turbo's are best, if your already 'making coal' and ejecting black smoke out of the exhaust then it won't do anything.

Too much LPG and it detonates badly.

You can also try Methanol fumigation, I used an old carb with just the idle circuit left open as this adds a little oxygen.

Of course if you blow up your motor don't blame me. :D
