'Yellow Peril' Robin Enfield Project and other parts

Post by brucey »

After obtaining virtually all the parts I need to make a replica 'Yellow Peril' Enfield, other commitments mean I have made only slow progress.

I now have the opportunity to buy another pre 65 Trials Bike (my main interest) but do not have the room for both! For this reason, I'm putting my Diesel Enfield Project parts up for sale.

I have the following:

1 off 1995 350 Enfield Bullet Trials (currently SORN).
Note: This is a roadworthy petrol motorbike in its own right and I used it regularly until the MOT ran out last November.
I will also consider putting a new MOT on this and sell it separately.

1 off very good Robin DY42 engine with electric start.
Note: It was stripped to clean and soda blast and is currently apart. I intend to rebuild and test it in the coming weeks.

1 off DY42 and 2 off DY41 engines in various states of disassembly/repair.
Note: 2 are electric start models.

A large quantity of genuine Robin Enfield Conversion Parts. I intended to use all the pattern parts to build my Yellow Peril Project but there would be enough parts left over to build at least 3 more Robin Diesel Enfield’s.

These include:
Engine Cradles and Frame Modification Parts
Inlet and Exhaust Manifolds
Battery Carriers
Throttle Linkages
1 off Enfield Petrol/Diesel Tank (with fuel return pipe and painted 'Robin metalic blue' with decals)
Modified Robin Output Shaft and Case
Modified Enfield ullet Primary Chain Case
Various Brackets (side stand, exhaust etc) associated with conversion
Robin Engine Conversion/Modification Parts (chrome plated blanking plates, fuel filter bracket, engine covers, push rod tubes and guards etc)
Original Robin Decal Kits
Welding Jigs and fixtures

Note:
Some of the remaining conversion parts will need bending, assembling, welding, plating etc.

£1850
