Hi all
Is there anything, other than a cav filter, that I can use as my main filter.
I have some 40 micron filters, but need a 5-10 micron main filter, and the cav is quite big for my project.
Anything else? Something with a transparent case would be great, but I cant spot anything
Primary fuel filter

Re: Primary fuel filter
they are hard to find indeed, especially one that is smaller than for instance the filter you'd see on a vw golf diesel (same size as CAV only half the price).
i finally had alot of choice in nice little transparant filters with water separation function, by searching on ebay.de for 'diesel wasser abscheider'.
as such;

Kubota 6A320-58862
Used on Kubota's 23-33hp B-series tractors. Very cheap, cost $24 for the whole thing and $14 for a filter. Built-in water separator and injector return line nipple. About 12cm tall.

Re: Primary fuel filter
Excellent, especially the part with the injector return pipe!
I have my CAV setup working ok at the moment so when I eventuallly swap a 482 in, I will have a look at that filter too.
