Interesting builds ( small correction on link: http://www.evalbum.com/4780 ), and at first look, it seems easier to realize an electric conversion compared to the alignment of diesel engine, gearbox/converter .
And a lot of oil is saved in the transmission line, only final chain or shaft driven needs oil
Challenges seem to be speed ( continous 90 kph ) , range between charging, weight
