Geared starter motor

Post by alexanderfoti »

Hi all

anybody know where I can get a geared starter motor from?

My L100 starter is drawing more and more power, and I think its shorted internally. As I am going to replace it, I might as well do it with a geared one.

No luck with them. Problem is that the Hitachi part number s114-650 doesn't show a geared alternative although we know one fits, it's just finding out which motor it is.

I'd try going to a couple of car breakers and see if you can find one that will let you match it up to what they have.
You can always make a adaptor / spacer if the business end is close enough.
