Fuel solanoid shut off valve.

Post by Dougy »

Any ideas guys ? I've been looking for one of these or something very similar for my Diesel engine, I bought one off eBay that said it fitted both 6 and 8mm pipe which done the job an it ticked over great but restricted the flow of fuel too much and wouldn't rev out, the one in the pic here is perfect with a 8mm diameter hole.... But it's in Australia !

If you go down this list they have petrol shut off valves. No inlet size but one of them does suggest high flow?? £22.38 + VAT
I expect you could get something similar from an LPG specialist near you??

Did you try the valve to see if it worked and shut off your engine?? Just thought to ask before rushing out and buying another.
If you bought a brass bodied one you might be able to drill out the bore?? :)

Nice one mate, I've just fired off an email to them asking the bore size. :D
