Free event showing some very interesting, innovative & economical to use motorcycles both old & new. All visitors welcome but please note: Motorcycles will runout & be off site from 11am Saturday before returning later for lunch.
Directions: Follow signs through the estate to the camping field situated behind the main house.
Camping £9 per tent per night.

Just visited the Bat & Ball today but it's closed for some kind of refurbishment. I guess it's the dining area? I wonder if there'll be more rooms for the bands to set up?

I've been adding the rally dates to various listings both local & national as well as bouncing a few T shirt ideas about. Always mention it when I'm asked about the bike & today I met Dave who kindly gave me a better seat for my bike.
I've said on some listings that it starts Thursday even

the trip from home to the bigknock is 90% motorway , but this time im going A road all the way
and some Bs at the end .the AA classic route planner is a good help. 171.2 mls .4 hr and 48 mn.thats from dereham in norfolk to wisborought green.lots to see on the way.

Im very much looking foward to this years one! I am ramping up the build of my bike to hopefull get it done before hand! Im off to Tims at the end of the month, he wil help with the turning of the pulleys etc etc, the its just frame work, electrical and we are off!

i still have some bits and bobs to do on the diesel sidecar im going to fit a 2 hob camping cooker in the sidecar. and a car battery for lights.i can just put my swag and clothes food in the sidecar and go

I knew those old diesel manuals would come in handy one day
Thought I'd go for a more Technical look this time round having had the cartoon last year.

I should also say I've decided not to do a long Distance Award this year.

I picked up the rally T shirts today & they are looking good!

I also paid a visit to the Bat & Ball and found out they are due to re-open on around 22nd April when the pub is handed over to the new Landlord.
How many times has that happened?! It's five weeks after that date until rally time & so hopefully all will work out.

We were out on our diesel bikes with rally flyers today. Met the guy who was selling stuff at our gate last year. He's gonna try & make it again this year.

Thats a realy shame! It can be a pain when stuff like that happens.

Been on the phone again today with the Brewery. Again they have promised to get the area manager to call me regarding the Bat & Ball. Still no tenant Landlord in the pub but there's a chance we might just get use of the field.
Not knowing either way is not good for my nerves
If its not settled soon we shall be having a new venue so keep checking back here for updates.

If all goes well I may be able to put in an appearance......

Saturday is a family wedding and I've not been given any choice about attending so I'll miss the ride out and evening sing song.

However if I'm crafty, I should be able to pop in on Friday and Sunday possibly stay Sunday night too. It will mean leaving old Sluggy with you guys from Friday evening through Sunday morning as a field play toy.

Where there's a will etc etc.

It's just not happening at the Bat & Ball so we will be sounding out other local venues this weekend & I hope to be able to announce a new venue by Monday.
Just to add that the caretaker at the Bat & Ball said that we are the best behaved campers at that site & he never has to clear up any rubbish after we've gone. I was pleased to hear that & it's a shame to be leaving that venue.
