Excited now yay bouncy

Post by alexanderfoti »

Sorry for the random title.

Getting both the old superdream and the new xj600 project bike into my new garden on sunday so I can start work on moving the 406 yanclone.

I know its nothing new on here, but I am hoping to have a reliable diesel bike build and am excited for it :)

Be good if you could log the build & turn it into an article to help others. I'd post it up on the site :-)

Of course, I will get a build log up on my site and will post it on a build thread at the same time. Should be easy to convert to an article after its finished.

I'm looking forward to doing a build that's not completely bodged!

Know the excitement feeling. I feel it too now that I got engine and CVT. It's driving me nuts not being able to do some work on the bike myself. It's all thousand miles away from me where Curtis in TX is building it and his version in his shop. Time has not let him start yet. :| Hoping for a build thread but his computer and internet is not working.

Slowly quelling my excitement getting the proper riding gear. Had only a HitAir Motorrad jacket on got on sell years ago. ATGATT (All The Gear All The Time saves skin and lives) so my stable's closet will soon also have

GMAX GM11S SNOWMOBILE HELMET - HI-VIS YELLOW (new on sell. in the mail) (cold weather parts are removable)- DELIVERED
ICON MENS PATROL WATERPROOF MOTORCYCLE GLOVES (new on sell in the mail)
Joe Rocket all weather waterproof pants and armer pads. includes liners (used and soon to be in the mail)
O'neal Element boots- Used "maybbbbeee" looking at them locally Fri. evening

Qt. of Ever Dry to use to waterproof/resist boots, maybe HitAir jacket as well as parts of the bike

Awesome! Ah thats a shame is so far away and that you dont get to get your hands dirrty!

Good shout on the bike gear though, mines approaching 5 years old and is getting a bit tatty... Let me know how the ever dry works out!
