What's the reason for the confiscation? Did they just not like the looks of it and despite it being legal in an EU country took it away anyway?

Someone has translated the hand written note that Olas was left with which is about all anyone knows. It appears he has posted the Face Book message from a mobile phone so he probably doesn't have real internet access at the moment.

Can you really be screwed with if you are from a EU country and riding in another EU country for not being in compliance with the laws of the country your are visiting even if your machine is completely legal when you are at home ??
