bmw f456cc diesel.

 I was sitting in the shed, watching the snow and I had an idea. My recently purchased BMW F650 (1998) engine sits in a bolt in cradle, then my eyes looked up to my work bench at my spare diesel engine (diesel 456cc yanma) and I thought to myself'I wonder if anyone else has fitted one of these engines with cvt into a BMW650 frame'. Do any of you know anyone who has done this? As a spare frame for my BMW with log book is only £45 on ebay. I feel a project coming on!!!! :?:

Don't know if it's been done. But if you were to use something like the Comet 40 CVT I believe you would need approximately 21 inches overall using the shortest belt possible. From looking at the F650 it appears as though you might tuck 21" in front of the swingarm? Would make a great project.
