New guy new bike soon..

Post by SNOOT »

Stuart thank you again for letting me into the nut house. I have been reading the board for a few weeks now.

I am new to the diesel motorcycle thing but not motorcycles. I have been working on them for years the gas type.

Couple years ago I had a good get off at the track and have decided that the type of bike I was ridding is better suited for the younger crowd.

I just sold my last sportbike and plan to make a huge change. Going to toss the big HP away and add some TQ to a donner bike real soon.

I have lots of great ideas. My first plan is to pick up a used Enfield for my project. I really want a bike that can use the origanal drive system so that I can buy off the shelf parts at a later date.

I have been trying to locate a supplier of this rachett Punsun v-twin for a couple weeks. Getting one into the USA sounds a bit hard.

I have been very active in the diesel truck stuff. www.nhrda.com After reading several posts I know I can be of help at some point on this forum.

Heck who knows if we can get enough bikes at our events in the following years we could add a 1/4 mile diesel motorcycle class..

Talk at you all soon.

Welcome to the forum, Snoot :D I wish you luck in finding an Enfield to play with. There is an outside chance that I may be picking up another soon. Time will tell.
