HDT has moved or is in hiding?

Post by LocomotiveBreath »

A Swedish couple doing the Route 66 tour from Chicago to Santa Monica on a 1950 Universal broke down here in Barstow. See Universal: http://www.classicbikersclub.com/files/ ... y/univ.jpg

They needed a new clutch, I told Emilio he needed a diesel engine also, I think I sold him on the idea. Well on our way back from the Los Angeles area with his new clutch disc I decided to drive by HTD in Hesperia to show my new friend the HDT facilities. Seems Fred has packed up and sold out according to the locals and went back East?

Glad to see you pop in Dave!

Yeah, he sold the whole company lock stock and barrel to an outfit in India. There is a thread in here on the topic.
