Love the write up and the build.
Lots of things that I went through with the build of mine aswell, including the charging system and frame design engine mounting! Looks like a real winner there!.

What a delight to read. I found myself laughing out loud at times. And what a great build. Thanks for sharing it Bob.

Awesome write up.
Can you explain further the Epoxy use instead of machining something that you mentioned in the write up.

The epoxy was used by Ed after I had left for the day. The last thing I thought, we would weld it. The next day he explained that he had this "aircraft epoxy" that is used to glue several of the engine components and wing components together on commercial airliners. I spoke to a machinist friend of mine who works for AA 2 days ago and he said confirmed the application. I will speak to Ed in the next day or so and ask him specifics.

Nice build and write up, thanks for that - and I'm sure that a lot of people will find it useful, when deciding to build a diesel motorbike from old bits left lying around!
Have lots of fun riding around on it!
