Flow Restriction And Turbos

Post by radicalnegative1 »

Hello everyone, first post.

I have a 10hp Yanmar Clone that I'm turbocharging for a CB350 donor bike and I have a few questions.

First, what sort of oil flow do these turbos need? I have a RHB31 turbo (the super small ones on eBay) for the build. I'm assuming that If I hook it up to the pressure port of the engine that the oil will favor the turbo over the engine because of the lesser restriction. So what do people use for in-line restriction (and can I buy it on McMaster)?

Also, would an intercooler be necessary for the build?

Thanks,

Thanks. Bought it and should be here by the end of the week.

One other question;

How can I keep the engine from pressurizing the crankcase via the turbo? I know there's a PCV valve in the rocker head assy. Did you have to modify it? I saw a video on YouTube about it, but the guy's directions weren't too clear.
