Anybody do a bike with a flat twin?

The ad doesn't explicitly say that this is a diesel, does anyone know if Onan made a flat twin diesel?

If it is a P220 then it's a gasoline engine.
If you're looking for a flat twin diesel, coventry victor HDA might do.

I'm pretty sure noone will want a 200+kg 2250rpm engine in a motorcycle.

I'd not heard of an engine manufacturer called Onan.

Those with a biblical education might recall Onan as the old-testament character famous for 'spilling his seed on the ground' - thus rendering the term 'Onanist' a slightly pompous synonym for 'w*nker'

FYI aside from Onan's predelictions, Onan engines are extreme quality. The older cast iron are very stout and even the newer aluminum models are very good. Overall their generators are some of the finest you will find but unfortunately at an equally premium price. Onan replacement parts are real pricey from Onan but there are some few aftermarket parts available.

Onan generators are commonly used in RV's or Motorhomes and have an excellent reputation for quality and durability. Normally they use a fairly large engine per the generator output which ups the weight but increases longevity running at 1,800 governed speed.
