Yanmar clone alternator

How does the alternator mount? It is on the flywheel but where does it mount? It looks like the magets spin on the outside and the stator somehow mounts to the engine block but I am not seeing it. Can someone help?

See page 14 in the link below. And yes, it's bolted directly to the block. The stator is contained within the dynamo which is behind the flywheel and visible trough the holes in the flywheel. There is also a version of this engine abailable that has no charging system. Those engines typically do not have a starter.
