1-2 would be great, R & S is one week earlier, so I could make an advanced vacation without missing to much at university. 8)

Here's a sneak preview of this years T shirt. Fun theme this year :D :D and only 50 shirts! I can't supply more just yet because of quanity/cost issues but, if it's anything like last year, there will be a few left over. I can supply artwork after the rally if none are remaining. Our artist on this was Owain Bugler and he's available to do other drawings should you wish to throw some money his way. He's very reasonable as far as costs go! DM me for his email. He can supply image in EPS Vector format as used by printers but I only have a .PDF of this. I'll also add that the QR scanner image is a first for any rally shirt we've done and yes, it does scan OK with Iphone and Android taking folks straight to www.Dieselbike.net
First come first serve at rally time!

Usually an EPS Vector drawing can be lossless converted into a pdf and vice versa.
Adobe Illustrator does this job for the pros. But you can do this with Inscape as well. This is open source and available for Winows, Mac OS X and Linux. No more excuses :-)

I'm glad someone knows about that stuff :D

Just talked with Landlord Mark at The Bat & Ball & everything's cool for the Rally. Water level near that stone bridge on the road in is very high at present & looks like some drain work has just been done directly out front of the pub. But that is all sorted now.
I've booked the runout to a local motorcycle shop & they will open their coffee bar for us. Hopefully that will be of interested to all. I'll post its postcode later to help with navigation.

This is the runout destination: Motori Di Marino, The Garage, West Chiltington, West Sussex, RH20 2QR Tel: 01798 813260.
These guys open their coffee bar for various motorcycle groups and only ask that those attending make a donation to this appeal which they are collecting for: http://www.ctscannerappeal.org.uk/

And on that note you should both have this on your respective homepages (and Facebook pages etc) in a way that stands out!

Track Diesel Motorcycles - the World's only production manufacturer of diesel motorcycles will be showcasing their 2012 model at the UK diesel motorcycle rally in June 2012. Come and have your opinion on the world of diesel power changed forever and check out one of the most well-built production motorcycles in the world bar none. Etc etc!

Stuart - Motorcycle Monthly seem to be a hell of a lot more open-minded about stuff than the likes of MCN. Is it worth giving them a call and seeing if someone will come down and do both a piece on the rally and maybe have a ride of Erik's bike? (they've already done a piece on Neil's!).

Stuart, how big is the list up till now of the attendents for next weekend :?: .
Is it a possiblity you publish the names and bikes and a small story behind each person.
This would boost the pr level
We will be there with 3 bikes.
And the story is that just a guy from Holland wanted to have a better and more suitable bike for traveling and all day use. This did take him 6 years and he succeeded in his effort
The bike has better fuel economy, less service cost, better drive ability, with GTL fuel less pollution than electric.. and drives further than electric

Just hearing that Ola and friend are flying in from Sweden :D

Had a call from a guy earlier who will be selling some surplus stuff suitable for bikers from his car at the rally :D

Jeff is aiming the get there Wednesday should anyone want to come along early and join him :D

Weather is looking to be cooler than of late with some sunny spells.

EDIT:

Entertainment: Now provided by the pub & on Sunday night.

New toilets and showers are an improvement on what was there before. Not hard to achieve that eh :?:

Jeff tells me Hans has arrived & that another guy apparently showed up Sunday. From the description it could be Sönke? He's not there at the moment but will hopefully return soon.

Edit: Matt has now arrived from Germany :D

I'd have been even more impressed if they'd somehow managed to make them worse  It's great to hear they're (finally) investing in the place.

I should be down late afternoon on Friday and look forward to catching up with everyone.

Certainly not :D Weather is ok at the moment. You'd have needed them if the old toilets were still here :D

I realised half way through the afternoon that I'll need to go directly from work tomorrow

So this evening has been spent oil changing the oil in old Sluggy and swapping the sump for a nice high capacity alloy one; fitting the sat nav mounting, locating tools and spare tube; packing the camping gear etc etc.

Knackered now.

So tomorrow morning will see an overloaded ancient Enfield battling London traffic; should be fun. :D
