diahatsu dnepr

Hi all,
some picture of my progress. I plan to christen her "D. Rex" unless someone has already used this name. I spent a few hours yesterday and figured out the alternator voltage regulator wiring, so I think most things are sorted in my head. If only the parts I ordered would arrive.6weeks waiting!

Hi John

Looks like things are going along really well, yeah I know what it is like waiting. It took 4 months for the parts to get here when I was doing the Enfield conversion :) !!

It sure will be a head turner once you get the bike road worthy.

Cheers

Hi Sumo,
I'm fitting a sidecar and plan on putting the battery in the boot and a diesel cannister on the side of the car. I will make a hinged 2 sided cover plate to cover the engine and will perhaps fit beneath it a small tank for veggie oil. Some of the german diahatsu dneprs are started using the kickstart and seem to start ok. I hope to start her up soon.
