Hi all
Is is possible to use a 3 phase regulator with a 2phase stator and still maintain full output of the regulator/stator?
thanks all

Re: Regulator
Yea I think. I know some of the Ratbike Zone guys do this sort of thing. ie use a three phase Superdream regulator on a single / two phase alternator, that is they connect up the two alternator wires to the regulator and leave the third input wire unconnected with good results.
Kubota Z482 which is plodding on with unnerving reliability. Three years so far.

Re: Regulator
Great, it seems as though the larger capacity regulators are all 3 phase. Thanks!
