air filter replacement

Hi everyone, the stock airfilter/housing from my chinadiesel is in the way for my knee, so i built in a foam filter in the enfield-air filter box, and connected this with the inlet with a rubber sleeve.
Now this filter needs replacement, and i want something with filters good but not much resistance, so the cheap powerfilters are not an option.
Maybe i stock paper filter can be fitted but ten you should now it by incidence.
But, what about buying a cheap paper car air filter, cut out a piece that fits and can be gleud into the rectangulair air filter box, will that be a good (and fun to make) option?

I was looking to change my air filter also, if you look on ebay the first thing Harley riders do to customise is take off and sell a perfectly good filter, but as no one wants them, the last time I checked they were going quite cheap.

a harley part on a enfield.. might be a downgrade..
in got an cheap imi-K/N air filter, the biggest one(very poor filtering, you can see through them) and wrapped foam from a scooter air filter around it, and oiled it in.
I do think it has a little more power then with the off-road foam filter!
