Oil sump. PLEASEEEEEE do something with your Sump. After seeing the below pic.... I can see you loose all your work by something stupid that takes out your oil pan

Absolutely right Coach, as a few people have noticed now. This is just the standard sump as the bike was only on the road 3 weeks. (one of which was replacing the transmission!) Also the primary cover is to be replaced and a few other footery things like a new clutch lever. I suspect I'll always be tweaking!
But yes, I will fix sump shortly by putting some rollers on the bottom.

It's really good to be riding about on a modern diesel motorcycle after riding slower bikes for years. I've never known a bike to eat up the miles so effortlessly and still want more! I blame the big tank and the 500 mile range
All that torque makes for an easy ride and such is the roll on acceleration that she overtakes cars like they are standing still. Its just what I'd expect from a bike like this and more. All that and I'm still getting excellent MPG figures.
These Smart Tigers are game-changers, no doubt about it.

I think the Briggs Diesel would still be a better choice here in the States. Diesel Smart engines are not as common. How are you doing with your Tiger George?

A recent post of a Tiger seller mentioning that 5'11 is minimum height for a Tiger rider is getting me little worried since Im only 5'8. Not too self conscious to add 1" to bottom of my boots but 3"-4" ... ...
I'm 5' 9" and manage ok. Neil lowered the bike for me - 20mm at the front & rotated the rear wheel spindle 180 degrees. Ok to manhandle on the flat but a nightmare on slopey campsites ( as I found out in Namur!).
Recently a guy asked to feel the weight of my bike by getting it up right at the local bike park. I had to laugh when he couldn't move & get it straight from being on the sidestand position

Good info, thank you. What is your Weight/Strength. I only got 150ish pounds of me to put into a heave hoe. Luckly am a little above average in strength.
Last time I weighed myself I was 14.5 stones. You can't approach a 'king' Tiger with faint heart - they are somewhat intimidating, even to tall folk Put one up on its centre stand and it's enough to give even the biggest biker second thoughts..
But they are pussy cats when up & running.
