It is with reluctance that I put up for sale a project that I will be unable to complete. We're moving house, well yurts, and surplus things that are currently dangling from a tree on a ratchet strap have to go....
So, I have a 1991 Enfield with Sidecar, all professionally set up, waiting to be converted with a Kubota 500cc twin from a funny French Aixam car. The enfield has a few bits currently unbolted, a bit of surface rust here and there, not helped by the dangling from a tree as you can probably imagine, and a small dent on the fuel tank.
Apparently, says Timppax on here, that:
"after simple parts removal Aixams will run over 100km/h. 80mph(?)
Covernor move is blocked with simple lever in order to keep it at legal speeds. Bolt it off and presto. "
I don't know about that, 55mph would do me, anything more would be fantastic!
Will put some pictures up in the next day or two...
Also a link to Steve's website in Somerset, where he has a few pictures of his completed build using the same engine, if I can just remember it, something to do with quontox...
I'm living in West Oxfordshire, if you want to come and take a look....
Price wise, hoping for £1500.
