Guys,
My Kubota OC-95 bolt pattern is different from the Yanmar L100 all the chinese clones are patterned off of. I'm needing a spec sheet showing the L100 mounting bolt pattern and relationship to crankshaft center line. Any help would be appreciated!!!
Thanks,
Cris

Hi Chris,
Look at the F400 model below. Same as the L100.
http://www.dek-engine.com/engine11.htm
Or open the PDF at the bottom of the link below and it's on page 19 in the Kipor manual. You have to enlarge the PDF about 150% to see it though.

Re: Need Yanmar L100 bolt pattern
Ron,
Thanks for the link, that was what I needed. Even after going over all the numbers, I still ended up with unexpected results. I decided to use the original two front mounting hole that I had drilled in my engine mounting plate 4 years ago, then I drilled two 1/2" diameter holes 10" inches back from those holes and called it good. My drill walked off by a good 1/16 of an inch towards the left side of the bike, so I had to take a round file and elongate the mounting holes. I can't tell you how much fun that was today with the 95+F. degrees and high humidity. Upon all the filing in the sun, I got everything in order, and mounted the engine. Believe it or not, I'm right at 9-1/2" centerline to centerline from engine crank to jackshaft. How that happened is an unknown. I will git my combination square out tomorrow and check shaft to shaft parallelism. In addition, I remember something in the documentation when I bought my Comet 500 units and there is a 1/16" offset also between drive and driven units. I hope I can find that documentation and get it right. All I know is that when the system is set up properly, it works pretty darn good.
Thanks for your help,
Cris

Tenacity is a word I've never used, but a good one indeed
When I got into tool and die making back in '78 we had a journey man tool maker that told me about "blind persistence", and with that, I move forward until the problem is solved or diverted.
Anyways, today I checked shaft parallelism between the crank and jackshaft and all is good within 1 degree. Got the Kubota wiring harness hooked up and wire tied to bikes frame. Battery is hooked up and there are no shorts. Hooked up the fuel system and exhaust...I have some work to do on the injector return line, but that can wait a few days. After that and a lot of sweating, I starting the engine and all was good and quiet. The Kubota sounds like a gas engine within reason, you can still hear the knock, but the clatter and cracking noise is gone. In addition, there is no diesel smoke in the exhaust. Never the less, without road testing, I don't know what kind of power I'll have.
