I ended up following one yesterday and of course, thought about the process of putting a big turbocharged three diesel cylinder engine into it.
Seems like a perfect project. Perfect drivetrain, big, fat reat tire, awesome brakes, etc...
Downside, price! I'm sure there aren't too many out there yet!

Yeah now your talkin' Wouldn't it be nice to get your hands on a V4 Diesel . I was looking at my mates Honda VT 1100 the other day, thinking MMMMM! wouldn't it be nice to have a diesel sitting in there.
Wasn't sure to tell him though Guess there are a few good bikes out n about that would be great donors.
Hay wouldn't that make the local Triumph dealer squeal if you asked him how much without the engine.
Cheers

Yeah, given the size of that engine it would be an ideal candidate for turning into a diesel. Reduce the cc so the bottom end could handle the increased pressure, fit a pump and injectors and there you go, one helluva bike. Triumph should experiment with this bike and do stuff like that
Stuart. M1030M1, Honda NC700S, Grom!, Toyota Corolla 1.4 Turbo Diesel. Favouring MPG over MPH.
