Military KLR's (GAS) on Craigslist Dallas

Just an FYI if anyone is interested in a couple of military KLR's (GAS) listed in Dallas.

I purchased sparky's KLR diesel conversion and it's awesome.
I will post changes that I plan to make on sparky's design as they happen.
First plan is to paint the bike like an HDT with Desert Sand and camo the seat.
Second is to run test using my biodiesel (made to ASTM standards, passes all test, centrifuged multiple times)

I have been looking for donors prior to buying sparky's and found these, so I thought I would pass them on.

What was the list price for a 2001 650 KLR? 5200USD seems steep...?

I'm not sure of the list price but it was an original military and not a conversion. I'm guessing the price was that high because it is being classified as a collectors item for whatever reason.
