Looking good Dougy, following this build with interest mate, ive read a few differant threads on the "other forum" and i think im gona go with the ford 1.8 lump, due to easy availability.......if its do able?...........want to use everyday as im getting fed up with fuel prices and my er5 o...

That is gonna be some bike!!!!, can i ask what the bevel box is off?.........i want to use a 1.8 ford diesel again with no gears, any help/advice welcome

Thanks for the advice Stuart, i think i will get the ural registered as is first then do the transplant ,im watching a similar build at the moment on the forum and will hopefully be collecting all the parts req'd to get started

Would something like a Kubota D600 be a better bet, or stick to single cylinder?

Hi All, looking for an engine for my first diesel build, would this yanmar 2t75 (16hp@ 2900rpm) be suitable?? , got a ural donor bike, or can look at building frame etc....

Hi, first post on here , into most things with an engine, love bikes ,trikes, rat rods etc..., have got hold of a ural complete and looking to run a diesel engine . The build treads are quality, some very clued up folk out there!!...............cheers chris
