Fiddled with the clutch pushrod adjustment and then cable freeplay AND some technique changes and taking loooonnnnger with the gear change and things have improved. A 30mile test and improved changes, taking more time and car...

Maybe it is the clutch - any tips on adjusting until I can find a Enfield manual.
