Deutz-Ruggerini RD 270 Decisions-Opnions

I'd like to ask a general question. Has anyone played with or have any experience around a running Deutz-Ruggerini RD 270. I have 2 of these engines and I have never heard or felt (vibration) of one of these engines, more or less than a RD 211?

I have one new engine with no starter, and one engine with a broke crank and a starter. I'd have to exchange engine end plate because the starter mounts are different.

I'm deciding between the Daihatsu/Briggs engine which is new and probably way smoother running, but I really like the looks of the RD 270. The RD 270 would be so much easier to adapt to this Ultima belt drive system.

Your opinions would be appreciated.
