daihatsu manual

hi everybody, i'm attempting to build a diesel bike using a goldwing gl1100 frame and a daihatsu 1.0l turbo engine.being an average (i.e. piss-poor!) mechanic i could really use a manual to help me set the engine up right, but guess what ..? i can't find one.pleease can anybody out there help? any leads greatly appreciated.brill site guys - cheers, jon.

Hi Jon,
the best place to go to get manuals (and anything else for that matter) is the Emule website. It's a file sharing site.
It's pretty easy to install and as long as you create a small folder with some stuff to give back to that community you can download all you like. But you will have to leave the PC on all night as it takes a while mostly.
I've just found whats looks to be about 5 copies of that manual but no telling if it covers the diesel! Or, indeed, if they are all that manual (some stuff is wrongly labelled)
And watch out for viruses of course
I'll try and get them overnight and see what I have in the morning. I'll send you a copy if I get the right one

Well, the all night download from emule got me several manuals but none were for the diesel

I noticed that the entry in the Wikipedia isn't too specific regarding the Diesel Charade http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daihatsu_Charade
Could anyone who knows better maybe put a bit more info into it on the Diesel model?

hi stuart, thanks for all your effort to help me out.unfortunately i've tried these links and still nothing! i think the engine is probably from a (charade) 91-93 G101 - i was hoping somebody might have a link/email/website to one of the guys on the continent who've already used this motor? anyway,thanks again - cheers,jon.
