Kubota Z482 Engines

Last time I stopped by these guys still had probably a dozen of these engines left. Just a mile from my house. They're what powers truck APUs. And they come with filters, exhaust, radiator, alternator etc. They have tons of parts as well (may actually be tons)- bare blocks heads, etc. And $200 per APU.

That's an excellent price for an engine which has been used to great effect - if I were building another that's the way I'd go.
