Hello, building an Ural/Guzzi bike

Hello diesel bike enthusiasts,

I am a mechanical engineering student and longtime fan of this website. I'm working on a project which may interest some members on the forum. All comments and suggestions appreciated!
While I am not building a diesel bike just yet, I was wondering if I could have some tips on adapting an Ural Clutchpack/flywheel onto a Moto Guzzi small block v50. Im currently designing a 2 inch thick aluminum adapter plate. The part of this project that holds the most potential is that ring gears of the original engines are the same diameter.
