Ricardo - anything more on that front?

I read an article a few years back on Ricardo's ideas for a diesel bike. It was based on a 250cc module so the initial idea was a 1000cc 4.

It was just a drawing so if anything had been built it was not shown.

It might have been an in house idea that was not picked up. Alternatively it might have been picked up and development is under way for one of the big manufacturers.

That Kawasaki might have used Ricardos to design their engines came out when a lot of people commented that the new Triumph engines resembled Kawasakis, so must have been designed by them. As Ricardos designed the first Triump motors more likely they designed the Kawasakis as well.

As I understand it security from these design places makes the CIA look like chatterboxes. But you never know. Someone might have heard something in a Worthing pub.
