Good stuff :)
All disappointingly low ratios tho' - need much higher gearing for decent fuel economy with any of the larger diesels.

Tis why I think with a CVT one should run a chain or belt (chain takes less room?) off the Secondary Clutch/Pulley to another sprocket that drives the universal joint of the Final drive. That way ratios of sprockets could be set to work with the shaft drive to end up with an appropriate end ratio.

With a standard GUZZI gearbox and an idro convert rear bevel you get 120km/h at 3200 rpm.
With a V11 bevel 150 km/h at 3200 rpm.

Ehm what do you guys mean by making it lower or higher?

Shall we make gears longers or shorter please? ;)

Higher geared pretty universally means more output speed for a given input speed. Think about how you change "up" and "down".
Higher geared is also "longer". Diesels should be laboured (avoiding high revs) for economy so Nanko's numbers sound useful.
