Another 20 hp Chinese diesel ..any good?

SINOPOWER 20HP TWIN-CYLINDER AIR-COOLED DIESEL ENGINE

This one is a parallel twin rather than a V . Are there any reports out there on this one? It's new to the Australian market . 20 hp or even 18 would make the whole enterprise much more viable as the Enfield is 18 hp originally .

I haven't seen this one, but it looks good! Although the V gives a nice little space for a turbo, in this case lets hope its a bit more reliable than the other ones.

I can't find much online but it does look wide , maybe 600mm .It may be too wide to fit an Enfield frame .

Looks very similar to a Ruggerini RD211 od RD210 to me.

I know two bikes using the original engine:

The 850cc version, the MD191 is used more often.

A couple of excellent links especially the UK one as I can't read German .The Brit version looks as if it has very good performance too.If the Sinopower version is the same size as the Ruggerini it looks quite possible.

It seems the only thing similar coming out of China is the Lombardini knock-off being built by Launtop. Lines up well with the specs from Sinopower.

Sino's ebay ad says 55kw@2100rpm? Thats 75hp I don't think so. Look at the pictures it is also used. The Launtop specs seems more inline. I have used three Launtop single Yanclones and the seemed to run well. Makes for a wide bike unless you mount it north-south in the frame. I have not seen these engines for sale in this part of the world yet.

It is after all, at 2100 RPM. Perhaps is was a little decimal point oversight. Would you believe 5.5 kw @ 2100??????

That listing is lie, imo.

55kw @ 2100 rpm???

New in the box??? Look at the pictures, there is a fair amount of rust on there.
