Stuart,

Many thanks to you and everyone else who helped organise such a great event. I had a brilliant time and have never met a bunch of such nice people with a common interest all in one place before.

I had only ever seen one Diesel motorbike (at about 25m) in the flesh before I attended the Big Knock. I was overwhelmed by the sheer diversity and ingenuity of the people and their creations.

You have all inspired me to get on with my own Robin Enfield project (if I can ever get my engine to start again!) and I hope to ride it to next years Big Knock!

Bruce.

A great weekend of camping and event better spread of diesel bikes. Great weekend out and had a great time. Apart from the rather embarrasing bit where my fuel pipe popped of for everbody to see whilst I was stiting on the bike like an ejit, I had a great time! Did around 270 miles all in on the diesel bike with no problems.

Thanks to Tim for letting me have a ride out on his new creations, they are very nice bikes indeed, the 482 is a dream to ride and the engine is very much smoother than my single, I am on the hunt for one now!

A video of the rideout should be on its way too.

Just down to my stupidity. I forgot the clips to hold the rubber fuel pipe onto the injector pump. It choose the beginning of the rally to pop off and spew the contents of my fuel tank over my engine until I turned the lift pump off heh.

Should have asked me Alex - always have spares for such emergencies.

I had the same thing on the Tiger last year - it must have pumped about a gallon over my left leg and boot.
