For my part I'm still not real clear on the planned design and build so dunno if thrust loads are present in the system. If there's no drive loads pressing in direction that shaft runs, then no thrust bearings. If the shaft is pressed back and forth, or either back or forward, thrust bearings needed. From what I vaguely see of the plan, no, it doesn't look like thrust earings are needed, but not sure of all the loads here.pietenpol2002 wrote:If your question is regarding the sourcing of thrust bearings, I don't believe anything discussed thus far in this thread requires thrust bearings.
