Is the pump on these the variable timming type that allows various throttle positions? so it will work with a gear change transmission. The pump reminds me of the Bosch units on cars and trucks.
I understand some of the static industrial pumps are tuned for a small range, like 3000 rpm so work better with CVT and are naisy/smoke at idle, just off idle.

Since it is out of a large ATV (RTV) then it must have a variable throttle since these rigs (Kawasaki Mule) drive and ride like a small 4wd vehicle.

yup, I contacted the seller. Been doing google research. Guess we will find out next week if I'm gonna be doing a 3cyl KawaDaihatsu build.

need to go find another computer... ebay is wanting to lock up on my laptop here. ggggrrr
did find out info on the Kawasaki/daihatsu cranks breaking when too much shock/side load is applied. Was a common problem in the early mules. Fix is to replace with crank out of turbo diahatsu 3 cyl. Now that it has the turbo crank... wonder if it could take the presure from a supercharger on it?
guess my concerns about side loading a crank are valid after all. On a motorcycle I supose you would spin the rear wheel before the crank gets too much loading
