That cloud of diesel smoke on stage would be your first clue.

Unless, God forbid, someone had a 2 cycle up there!!!!!!!!

Down here in the lazy end of the world I just sit down and play country, Irish country/folk (family background from Ireland/UK :) ) a little rock n roll, really any song with a story I'll listen to and also play, like Stuart we share a passion for playing the Guitar/Bass.

Think we just need to have a Diesel Bike Concert. Just need some good ears for rhythm mixing, some string instraments, some harmonicas would be sweeeeet. then just do this

Andrew, seeing your tastes in music I'm gonna recommend an album that you may just like 8) I too come from the same background and have been drawn to that kind of music. The thing is the folk I hear is just to folky to inspire me much - I like there to be a bit more energy and edge to it. I love the fiddle but rarley is it played the way I like to hear it.
I know the bass player on this album (through his brother) and it's one of those records that somehow slipped under the wire.
The band in question is 'Tricks Upon Travellers' and they are, or were, a Folk/Punk outfit from my home county of Sussex. The album is entitled 'Where the Skeletons Dance' and it is a well produced and lively recording. It also has the bonus of having the song 'Sparticus' which is a catchy number and really should have been a hit in some way, shape or form.
Songs:

Coach :D That tractor stuff is brilliant :!: I was only just talking to a drummer today about youTube videos. That puts him out of a job surely, lol. So does this mean I have to get my brother playing his bass along to the accompanyment of the Ruggerfield :?: I'll put it to him 8)
Addition: Had a word with my Bro last night and he might be up for doing this :D

I've always thought track number 10 from this EELs album would be a good song for us guys to adopt. http://www.eelstheband.com/trinkets.htm
10 - mr. E's beautiful blues.

Opening with the line "Smoke stack spitting black soot into a sunny sky" and then going on to be a real feel good, get out on the bike kinda song makes this tune most appropriate in my book 8)
