I'm proud to announce a new V-Twin Engine Supplier in Chattanooga, TN.
We're just a couple of average guys that work for the same employer
and share an interest in biofuel powered diesel motorcycles. We decided
to pool our resources and start a home bsaed diesel importing business.
We plan to offer sales and warranty service for china diesels at very
competetive prices.
Presently we carry the Punsun 10 and 22hp engines and in about 6 weeks
our shipment of Winsun 13 and 25hp engines should be here.
My partner has been running his Ford F-250 truck on veggie fuel for the
past 2 years and has perfected a simple and effective method of processing
waste french fry oil to a stable and useful diesel fuel. He has already been
selling his fuel processing equipment with good results.
Tennessee has a sales tax of 9.25 percent that makes it cheaper to sell
engines out of state than it is to buy in state.
Our website is brand new and only one page at this time. Please visit from
time to time as I plan to be vastly expanding it with tips and information.
Sincerely, TnFan

Cool, y'all are just down the road from me. so... If I meet you in say, Ringgold and payed you for it over dinner there, and picked it up in the parkinglot there... wouldn't that be concidered an out of state sale? feel free NOT to answer that in writing on here.
are the 25hp constant speed fuel pump or do they have the variable speed guts?

Re: New USA V-Twin Engine Supplier
TedV,
Sorry I didn't see your post for a few days.
We are out of Winsuns .... next shipment due in
5 or 6 weeks. We have plenty 10hp and 22hp Punsuns
in stock right now.
All these engines are set up for industrial use and great
in lawn mower or tractor applications.
That is where the world wide demand is.
The Winsun folks say they sell in China, India, Australia
and in Europe. Not many sales in USA.
They are fixed injector timing, so the engines will do best
at highway cruise and not around town accelration.
They're gonna smoke a bit on acceleration
Please email me at A1biofuel@gmail.com and we can talk more
and not use up forum space.

Re: New USA V-Twin Engine Supplier
congratulations on your venture, i was wondering if you have any tourqe ratings on the 13 hp single? My 418cc clone supposedly has 7.3 kw and 20ft/lbs of torque. 13 hp should see a significant gain in top end speed if geared correctly. cool!!!

Re: New USA V-Twin Engine Supplier
Thanks BoxerOtto,
I guess I'd better get my butt in gear on my website.
I'm brand new to html editing so all my stuff is crude.
I've discovered that the commercial WYSIWYG editors
create very, very, very dirty code. Thats why some pages
take so long to load. So I've been doing it by hand and also
a free editor that sometimes doesn't work right.
You'll notice my page loads real fast
My next project was to post my own photos, rather the
ones I stole off the web.
The problem is I need a white background and outdoor
lighting get photos that look good on a website. I finally
figured a white tablecloth on my pickup tailgate would work
well as a background. And pull the truck into the shade of a tree.
And those engines are heavy to handle by myself.
Oh well .... I'll delay that and go about
creating another page with technical specs about the 13hp
Winsun engine. Please give me a week. I've got to dig up the
specs and figure out a way to scan and present the material
in a useable manner.
I guess you could use the figures from a 10hp engine as a rough
starting point.
I've learned that all the manufacturers play very looseley with their
figures. There are acually peak figures (very short duration) and
1 hour figures. The 1 hour figures and the Kilowatt figures are the
more realistic ones.

Re: New USA V-Twin Engine Supplier
Thanks Rover,
I'm busy trying to update the website with more information.
I hope to have more pages in a week or so.
The idea is not to repeat answers to emails over and over again.
I'm having to "steal" pics, specs and drawings ..... somthing I'm
not proud of .... until I can gnerate my own.
The guy I was importing from kinda stiffed me on warranty parts
where I had taken parts off good engines for the customer.
He said he would replace, but never did. So I hunted a new supplier.
The Winsuns are real nice, I'm looking forward to a re-supply.
Thanks for all your help in the past.
How did that softail project turn out?
I believe it was a chain driven 6 speed Ultima transmission.
That seems to be the perfect setup.
