Hi and welcome to the forum. As it happens, those herein are probably the biggest and most public users of such engines. Their motorcycles and reports on them often come up when these engines are 'googled' by potential buyers who want to use them on all manner of applications.

I'm glad the quality has been improved as not all the engineers have had success with this type of engine, vibration being the major concern.

It occurs to me that if you are the manufacturer of these engines you could do your business no harm at all by offering a few free engines to those who use them so publically in their motorcycles. Then, perhaps, we could all see how they have improved and you may benefit from increased sales?

...is it possible to get the plunger pumps modified for variable injection timing or is there allready one available?

Short story: The major disadvantage of the Winsun motors is that the plunger type (Element / M117 aso) injection pumps are variable in the injection interval only, not injection timing (I.e the time of start of injection). This is probably due to its generator fixed rpm and the pump is made for 3000/3600 rpm only.

For use in a bike or any vehicle running on other rpms there is a desire for variable injection timing.

There is a way of making the timing for the plunger pumps quasi-variable that probably would make these engines run much smoother on other rpms than orginally issued for. This modification is discussed in some other thread here......

Due to that the MOQ for engine is 20 sets, we can only provide EXW price if the order is less than 20 sets. However, the quote we offer is always the lastest and lowest we can.

We cannot reduce the price by ourselves,so please understand.
