Rally Location page here: http://www.peace65.freeserve.co.uk/Pictures/rally3.htm

The main site page showing this is down for the moment.

Just to let you all know I paid a visit to the Bat & Ball last night to meet the new Landlords there.
I gave them the lowdown on what usually happens come Rally time and enquired as to whether it would be OK to stage the 2007 event there again.
I'm glad to say they were most enthusiastic and penciled us in for the usual weekend of 2nd-3rd June
We also enquired about having some live music and they said that would be no problem and so all that remains there is for Jeff to book the band in.
I'll visit them nearer the date to talk about the details such as providing breakfast. Maybe I'll try and get them to lay on a German Breakfast as well as a Full English. I know some of the visitors find the typical greasy fry up heavy going  and so might prefer scrambled eggs and sausage instead :)

Colour me happy and book my spot, you know the third on the left as you go through tha gate.

I'll be having the full English fry up at every opportunity thanks.

Just a quick plea to all the new builders out there - even if you don't finish the build come on down for the occasion; if nothing else to gain inspiration and share ideas.

Here's hoping the weather is as good as last year (scorcher).

Stuart,
I have the weekend booked off work and am thoroughly looking forward to it. I've become a bit obsessed with this project lately and wouldnt miss the chance to chat to similar minded folk.

Dave,
Thanks for the encouragement about attending whether the project is finished or not. So whether I come on the Diesel Davidson, Triumph or in the car with the dog, I intend to make it.

Rally 3 details and News pages are missing from DieselBike.net for the moment due to technical problems with the server update or something. But it is still going ahead so don't be put off by this :D

Just got back from finalizing the rally details. Camping for cars is £8 while bikes are £5.
Band will most likely come on around 9pm and play till 11pm.
Everything else is as before.
Hope to see you there :!: :D
