Trying to track down a Dorsett Diesel

Good afternoon all.

I’m looking to track down one of Ernie Dorsett’s diesel bikes. Ernie was my grandfather and I remember growing up around many a diesel bike. I’m looking to purchase one of my grandads bike to have one back in the family. I’m a biker myself so it wouldn’t lie in the shed with a sheet over it.

Any information would be fantastic.

Hi Paul, I have one of your grandfather's diesel Matchless motorbikes. My father bought it from him and it was the bike that Ernie was using at the time. I have the documents that name him as a former owner.

I live in Fife and I am planning on selling the bike. Would you be interested?
I would love it to go to a good home, my father passed away last year and he loved this bike.
