Fuel Tank?
One question for those with wisdom I seek. Vented or not?

Re: Fuel Tank?
You can vent the tank or the cap. But, it's gotta happen somewhere. And while we're on the subject, what's you plan for the return line to the tank from the pump? Always interesting to see how that's approached.

Re: Fuel Tank?
Haven’t got a firm placement yet on the return. Nice thing about the Kawasaki KLX tank is that its thick walls allow for some wiggle room in picking a location.

Re: Fuel Tank?
Sometimes you just get lucky. I’ve been looking all over for a gas cap that fits the booger colored tank. The guaranteed fit was Kawasaki KX, used or NOS. NOS was and used was impossible to find. As far as fleabay, Amazon, AliExpress and Wish were concerned, either too large or to small.
So, I was wandering the lawn and garden parts section of our local Menards and spotted a gas cap that looked like it might fit. I figured I could gamble $4.
Perfect fit and it’s vented.

Re: Fuel Tank?
So the fuel tank is solidly mounted now. I’m pondering return line placement. Bottom, top, or side?
The two holes on the side of the tank are threaded M6, so that would provide a place to route a steel line securely with P-clamps. Looks like I have room on the flat front of the tank if I use an elbow.
