Big Knock 2008

Post by SANGLASMICK »

Just wondering if there is anyone else in Ireland thinking of travelling to the rally this year? If so maybe we could link up and travel together. Unfortunatly I have to bring a CBR750. (Nothing else running at the moment). Anyone interested let me know. :)

I am thinking about going this year, it really depends when the bike I'm working on is finished...

Hi Neil,

Let me know how you get on. I will be leaving from Rosslare on the Friday morning sailing to either Fishguard or Pembroke depending on availability.

What are you working on?

Cheers,

Mick. 8)

Sounds good Mick. I am working on an 800cc Turbo diesel around a smart car engine, see this thread -

Not much more info yet, but hoping the next couple of weeks will see some progress.

Hi Neil,

Your project looks really interesting but a bit beyond what I've been playing around with, (Sanglas chassis and Robin single cyl engine). I'm trying to get away from electrics and electronics as much as possible! Still very new to all this so havn't thought of transmissions yet. I need an injection pump for my engine and they seem scarce down here.

Will talk nearer departure.

Mick.
